Other projects (related to Amitran):

TeamNet has been involved in three main research and development projects that can be related to AMITRAN.

At national level, the CLOUDS project aims at developing a Cloud Computing platform with the purpose of increasing competitiveness based on innovation of TeamNet International S.A. / CLOUDS – Increasing Online Connections of Service Users. The purpose of the project is the knowledge development for both fundamental and as well as advanced research, thus increasing the performance of IT services.

At International level, the MobileSage and smartCEM projects:

MobileSage - Framework Programme 7

Today’s society is flooded with a plethora of new techno – devices which although easy to use for the newer generations are unfamiliar and can pose sever difficulties to the elderly. This is why senior citizens exhibit anxiety towards the uptake of new ICT based solutions, such as for example automated ticketing machines.

The idea of MobileSage (“Situated Adaptive Guidance for Mobile Elderly – MobileSage”) is to provide elderly people with context – sensitive, personalized and location – sensitive tools which allow them to carry out and solve everyday tasks and problems in the self – serve society when and where they occur, “just in time”.

TeamNet Internationals’ partners for the project are represented by both public and private companies from Norway and Spain as well as the Romanian Ana Aslan Institute.

smartCEM - CIP – Pilot Actions Framework Programme 2007 - 2013

Electric power solution has proven to offer a potentially ground-breaking solution for more energy efficient and less petrol dependent vehicles and transport systems. The consortium aims to integrate regional initiatives which have been established all over Europe. It is generally know that electric vehicles (EV) are under-used due to their limitations and lack of people’s confidence in this type of transport mode. The smartCEM project aims to minimize the current EV limitations, by applying advanced mobility services (EV-navigation, EV-efficient driving, EV-trip management, EV-charging station management) to existing multimodal electro-mobility transport modes.
